Upon moving to their current location on the Bruce Highway at 95 Gladstone Road South Rockhampton, Newsome’s became one of regional Queensland’s first Dunlop Super Dealers in 1982.

Always a Rockhampton family business, Daryl and Julie Newsome took over the driver’s seat in 2002 and since then the business has grown to become the biggest supplier of tyres and wheels not only in Rockhampton but right across Central Queensland for Passenger, 4WD, Truck and Earthmoving customers. Newsome’s also supply and fit tyres for forklifts, mowers and skid steers.

A major focus for Newsome’s Tyre & Mechanical is to keep their many rural clients on the move, with a wide range of leading brand Quad, Tractor tyres and Agricultural Tyres ready for immediate fitting. They also provide their unique Field Service to both the Rural & Commercial sector, understanding that sometimes it’s not possible to bring vehicles to their workshop so they will go to you.
